Serial number 19?988. The question mark is because that digit of the serial number has been obliterated by incorrect stowage of the focus rail.

I am also curious about the Kalart rangefinder on this camera. It has adjustment screws on the two sides - no scales and has patent applied
serial number G 3385

Originally what lens would have been on this camera? It is a 4x5 model - all blackened brass hardware.

All Kalart rangefinders work and are made similar. Newer versions are a refinement on the original version.

this is what I find in the "not the serial nimber book list but"

and the 199732 -speed -1957 can't be right

My Kalart Rangefinder does not look like any of these. I guess it is the earliest version?
