|

I just got a hold of a XLSW that had the lens taken off
& I had a lens barrel thats for a 100mm lens with no lens
so with some mods to the lens board part I put a 65mm
Angulon on it and adjusted it for infinty the foot scale
on the barrel don't match but as with the XLSW you use
the ground glass anyway! and I do still have the 47mm barrel
so some day if I can find a good 47mm!
BUT this 65mm lens barrel wont work on a XLRF or a XLS
as it would be like having a 1" spacer or something like that |

I was looking at Schneider website I made this work with the f6.8 Angulon
BUT it would not have work with the Super Angulon as the flange foucss
aint close the f6.8 Angulon is 63.5mm & the Super Angulon is 70.5mm and
the 100mm barrel would not be to short!
BUT was just out looking!! with the 65mm & the 47mm
and for some thing a 75mm or a Ektar 80mm mite be better
AND so I will be loking at some way to put my Ektar 80mm
on one of my XL's
AS the 80mm Zeiss plaar & the 80mm Rodenstock Heligon aint
wide angles lens |
