Doesn't look much like Berthas whose pictures I've seen.
Does anyone have an idea who might have made it?
Can't imagine using it on the dinky tripod its on in the listing's pictures. |

I was told that they made around 1000 of them!
its a 4 step zoom made for baceball games
#1 step was foucss on picher mound
#2 for home
#3 for 2 bace
#4 out fild
the lever on the right side was for zooming
they use pack film
it took may be 3 men to use it 1 foucss
1 trip the shutter
1 pull the tab on the film pack
anyway thats what an old UPI photographer
told me that he did back in the 1940s |

I have a photo of that camera's brother on my site:

So similar they were obviously made by James Frezzolini around the same time. By the way it is not my camera, just used the photo for illustration.
Cheers,

Thanks, Bruce. A couple of years ago Eve Girard sent me pictures of her Frezzolini Bertha. Not the same. Many are the variations ... |
