Efke PL50 2 1/4 x3 1/4 Sheets arrived last week ordered on-line. My first shots (ISO 50) I did in open tanks with hangers in HC110-Dilution B for 7 minutes at 68F and they were a bit thin, but still very printable with VC filter at 3.0. My first experience with Efke film was with 127 roll film and it badly reticulated. I have since learned that even 2-3 F in temperature variance can ruin this film. Later attempts had greater success by keeping Dev-Rinse-Fix-Wash all on the 68F mark.

Have others used this film, and if so, what dev works best?

I have used some of the Efke PL 50 sheet film. My impressions:

1. Do not underexpose. I am going to use an exposure index of 32 in the future.

2. Developed in D-76.

3. I would recommend using a fixer with a hardener.

4. All processing solutions should be kept a uniform temperature. Reticulation is a real problem. Even having the rinse water a different temperature is a problem.
