I have a Crown Graphic "Special". The serial number embossed on a metal plate between the focus rails is 944620. The lens is a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 1:4.7/135mm, serial number 642782. The camera has a Graflok back, permanently mounted viewer on top right with some kind of removable metal window on the front. The range finder is on top. Can anyone advise me where to locate information on the camera's age, where I can find a specific instruction manual, availability of film holders and other accessories? I am also interested in any advice on how to properly clean this camera. Lotta dust inside the housing. I live in the Everett WA area.
Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays,

944xxx may have a Date Code on the bottom of the rail cross member, usually the front most one, telling what month in 1960 it was made.

Windex is good for general cleaning. Pledge Natural Beauity , (yellow can, not the wipes) for the body leatherette and the bellows. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
