Did the Signal Corps or the Navy issue a tech manual about using the Speed? And if so, where can I get one?
Thanks

Gordan:
The U S Navy Photographer's Mate manuals from pre 1970's era give very good information on the use of the the Speed/Crown Graflex cameras. These cameras were afterall the mainline camera of the time for Navy photographers. I was one 1965~1970.
BTW, I am in Port Orchard _________________ One old curmudgeon Photog |

If you get the Navy manual, be sure you get volume 1. Volume 2 covers aerial and motion picture cameras.
If you can find one from just after the war period, it might cover more ground. For example coverage of the older Anniversary models as well as the Pacemaker series. I'm not sure, but it would be worth looking into. _________________ Glenn
