The Graphic View II I just got has a graflox back and I am wondering how people manage to do critical focusing when you can't get a loop right up to the ground glass. I am used to easy access to the ground glass. Is there a loop available that has a 4 inch reach? Is there some commonly known trick for this I should know about? |

Remove the folding hood and your loupe will get right in there. |

Check the Calumet catalog. I think Toyo still makes a view camera loupe that's 4 inches long. Or watch ebay for one. Omega made the same thing for a while. Calumet I think, still stocks a loupe with a suction cup on it.
a bit pricey, but the Schneider 6x loupe is long enough to hold onto with the hood inplace too. |
