| I'm making a curtain for a 3x4 RB, following Bert's recipe. I'm using bellows fabric from Turner Bellows @ $15/yard. Joe Merry is the person to order from there. Material looks good. Will report progress. |

| Thanks for the info, I'll contact them tomorrow. In reference to your shutter, are you using Bert's stiffeners? The reason for asking is that I've been fabricating shutters for a couple of years and believe I've developed a method that is much easier, faster and more dependable than the traditional crimped stiffeners. | I'm making the stiffeners...so far, not so good. Bert's direx call for .005 aluminium, I'm using .005 brass...too stiff to bend easily using a clipboard. But I figure my first curtain is a trial run; if I make too much of a mess I'll trouble Bert for the pre-bent set. |
