Does any one know where I can get 28mm filters for my Graphic 35? I use the camera for black and white shots and want to get a #8 or #15 filter. Also my measurements indicate that it takes a 28mm filter but is that correct. An american made camera from the 1950s should have inch diameters.

I use Kodak Series VI (6) Adapter Rings for my small diameter Graphic lenses. The smallest Series VI Adapter ring I own is 31.5 mm (That's not a threaded dimension but a slip over dimension). Kodak shows both inches and mm on their adapters. Series VI can be stepped up to take Series VII (7) filters as well. My adapters and filters were bought on eBay. Harry |

OK, so maybe I can answer my own question and see what you folks think. They sell on ebay and other places 28mm UV filters for digital camera and camcorders. I could also buy a gelatin #8 or #15 filter. I have never seen one but I guess it is like a piece of thick colored acetate. Can I gut a gelatine filter to fit the 28mm UV filter. Would I try to remove the UV glass and just use the gelatin or does it make more sence to just place the filter over the UV glass? Will that cause reflections?
Sometimes creative solutions are needed but will this one work? |

dI would take the camera to an older camera dealer as they may be able to find a filter to fit your camera. |
