I too recently aquired a Graphic 35 w/o case, however this camera is in "mint" condition. It literally looks as if it was never used. I also have the owner's manual. What an incredibly well-built camera! Couldn't believe it had Schneider optics. The thing is a tank! Why is there no information on this camera on the homepage. Can anyone give me some history on this jewel? |

Search Goggle and on the 2nd page is an article by Yoder about the history of the 35 Graflex. I know it had both a 2.8 and 3.5 lens because I have both. Russ |

Thanks for the info Russ! I have loaded some slide film for test shots to see if shutter speeds are accurate. Very unusual rangefinder! My Dad used to shoot us as kids with an old Graflex TLR and the Speed Graphics are legendary...so I knew the name. Paid a guy $25 for it. I collect old cameras, so I didn't really care, for that amount, whether it worked or not. I will let you know how the slides turn out! BTW mine is a 3.5 and the optics are Rodenstock...not Schneider. Take care!

I use my Graflex 35 w/BW all the time and it is my favorite rangefinder camera. Sturdy and very sharp. I keep it the car under the seat in its original leather case. I tried a color roll and wasn't too happy with the results. I 'guesstemated' shooting speeds and f stop and even bracketed on some exposures but the results were brownish in color. This camera (2.8 lens) is also great for low light w/Tri-X. Underrated camera. |

I have had a graphic 35 for a month or so now and my test shots in color are sharp and clear with no discoloration to them at all. Mine too is under the car seat a lot. It is my walk around camera beacuse of it's robustness and leather case.
