Just got some Shanghai (brand) 100ei 4X5 from 'bay....cheap!
I asked this on P.N too...but not everybody goes there...
***Have you played with this stuff? I'll report back, but I'd sure like to know your experiences/process/rating etc.
I intend to bracket around box speed 100 using Rodinal (actually R09) per Shanghai 1:50 advised 15min/20c...
I'll also bracket around 60ei with 12 minutes.
Subject will be maximum contrasty and maximum brilliant...foliage and building outside my home at 5200' altitude. I'll flatbed scan and wouldn't mind a flat neg...in general this "subject" has blows out highlights consisting of shiny side of leaves, which are almost specular... |
