|
|
I recently got a home portrait graflex with a recently added home made handle, and I would like to replace it with one that looks more like the original
I haven't been able to find a photo or drawing of an original handle, and wonder if anyone could share a image of one that I can work from.
Thanks! |

I could use a handle, too, for my 5x7" Press Graflex. I sent you an e-mail, Bert. |

Jamie,
I sold my Home Portrait Graflex last year (sadly...but I never used it). I have a photo of the top, as mine had a near mint original handle. I don't know how to post the photo here so I will e-mail it to you. Anyone else who wants the photo, please e-mail me at j.p.mose@lmco.com
Regards,

Great job, Bert! I'll be carrying the lunchbox around town by its new handle in short order.
Bert used the handle on one of his own 5x7" Press Graflices as a model. In the process, we looked at various catalogue images, and Bert compared the cameras in his possession, and we realized that there were quite a few handle styles on different models and that they were fitted individually to the camera, because the holes for the rivets on one camera would be slightly different from the holes on another of the same model.
Here's a photo of Bert's fine handiwork--
