I have just found (Thanks to this forum) that I can again get 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" sheet film to use in my collection of film holders. Due to the many years since I have used a film holder I have forgotten what the protocol is about which way of inserting the dark slide indicates an exposed sheet of film in that side of the holder, and which way indicates a fresh sheet of film.
Thanks for a reply to refresh my memory.

Actually it's any way YOU want it to be that you can remember it, but usually it's silver/white is unexposed, black=exposed.
Then after you've pulled the film and processed it, the film holder is put back with the darkslides still to black... this way you won't accidently pick up an empty holder and think there's unexposed film in it.

Thanks Les for the prompt reply. This old man sure appreciates the memory refresher. As soo as I saw your reply it clicked with me. Black to the darkroom, silver/white to the camera!
No need for any more replies.
