My error, Dave. An illfated attempt at humor.
I thought Warren was joking about the "If you want positive verificaiton of a photos its 400 bucks per shot" issue. As usual, I didn't follow his link to discover what he was talking about. So, I was joking thinking HE was asking for the money about HIS photos.
You've got to be old to follow this twisted logic. Should have kept my mouth shut, but then that's never deterred me before!
Glad you found the answer you were seeking, Warren. |

Well no answers as of yet, although my query is in to the company. Sorry if it looked like a sales pitch, thought if someone else had the same question they could use the service.
I should add that the service is of interest to me as I am an investigator. and only a weekend photographer:) |

As a "recovering" attorney, I am surprised Poloroid still offers such an authetication service. As you can see, the verification only deals with the DATE of the film, not the image itself.
With the advent of digitally altered images and computer generated negatives and prints, the use of photography in court has been severely challenged. As always, it comes down to the word of the photographer testifying the photograph offered into evidence correctly represents the scene as he observed it, versus the challenger testifying it does not.
