The spring back on my anniversary speed graphic is too tight to allow for a 405 holder. It looks like there is enough tension in the spring to put a spacer and longer screws on the spring mounts to allow for the 405 back...but I am wondering if there is a standard approach to adapting for this back.
Thanks

I don't know of a standard way to adapt a 405, but you idea sounds logical. Just be careful where you are puttin the spacers so you don't inadvertainly move the ground glass out of position.

to follow up...i went to the hardware store and bought two longer screws and an aluminum spacer of about 1/4 and it works great and looks good...
have not tested the tension on a regular film holder yet but it holds the 545 and the 405 backs fine and it seems to hold a regular film holder tight also.
