Does anyone know of a source for the rechargeable batteries for the strobonar 772? I just picked one up and it only works with the AC cord plugged in.

I can't verify this info as I haven't yet gotten around to replacing the nicads in my 700 & 770s. I've been told that the sub-C size batteries in the Makita 9.6(?) volt battery pack for cordless drills etc. has the proper sized nicads. I'm assuming the 772 uses the same battery pack. |

If you haven't already found a supplier, I recently heard from another Strobonar user who had his sub-Cs replaced by Batteries America in MN. They charged him $15.00 to replace the 4 sub-Cs in a pack on a 770. Either they goofed, or that is one heck of a deal since they did the installation too.
