Either cut your own from 5x4 sheet film,a darkroom job,or try to purchase a 120 roll film back, which I use on my 3x4's.
Now,relating to G.B.processing,a problem:If you are developing your own fine (b/w),but nobody would process color neg/trannie (or b/w) in this country.Labs wouldn't even know what size that was (3x4).
Or if you are wanting b/w sheet film, without cutting, then go to the States as the previous poster suggested via airmail.
A trick with 3x4 b/w is load it in a Paterson universal dev tank each side(removing reels of course)and do 2 sheets at a time.
If your really serious, color neg could be done this way,BUT with a lot of 'experimentation'until you finally got the right timing.Best of luck on that one.
If you had 5x4 the Worlds your oyster for processing and film. |

Many thanks to all who replied to my plea for 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 film stock. Maybe someone could advise me on how to swop the back of the camera to take 5x4 film. |

Sorry,Retouch, you cannot do this..best save up and purchase a 5x4 camera.
The 5x4 back is bigger than the 'Quarter Plate'(3x4)camera you have. This is why your camera (and mine) went out of fashion and were taken off the market by Graflex because they were not popular.
So it's ended up,more a collectors item than a working model,as I say,if you can get a 120 roll film back or import the film...but then we are back to square one and Im repeating myself from my previous post.
A 5x4 might be your best bet for those in Britain.Only because of the availability of the film stock and holders. |

There are suppliers of B&W film for your camera that are closer to you than from the U.S.. Some brand names are Efke, Maco, Adox and several others. A thorough web search might come up with dealers closer to you, especially in Germany. Your camera is fully usable. The trick is just hunting down the film, which IS available. For color film, I would adapt a roll film holder or cut my own sheets. Not that hard with a little imagination. Good luck.

Thanks for your all your replies. Will look on the web for possible film suppliers and roll film backs. It would be nice to re commission the camera again.
Will keep you posted on my progress.
