Hello, everybody!
I recently bought a 4x5 Speed Graphic Anniversary Edition. It's a great piece of equipment and all working perfectly. There is only one question I have. On the right side - over the Kalart - is a flash mounting bracket for a Heiland flash. Imprinted is "Heiland 70". I was wondering whether this is an original item from the 40's or whether this was added at a later time.
Thanks...

Like anything without the Graflex label, it was an add on accesssory.
I have one that has never been installed. The model 70 clamps for the battery case seem to be rare.
I am lucky enough to have a pair of used clamps and a complete new flash. Some day, maybe I'll mount it on one of my "children".
Edit: The box it came in is marked $19.45 and the exposure guide/ info sheet is copyright 1950, so who knows?
